After contacting the company and submitting a photo of the defect I was expedited a replacement which arrived without defect, The Tie was very close to color presented on-line and arrived shipped in a very nice package. "When I purchased this tie it was listed as black, but I also purchased 5 other black ties from ties.com at the same time. Each was for a different member of my wedding party. When compared side by side, the material of this tie makes it appear to be a deep, deep blue rather than black. This likely has to do with the general sheen of the material, which the matte products don't have. Nevertheless, the tie is well made and would be good for any semi-classic music lover. (It is not vinyl, after all)."
